BUFARMA & L’ilot work together to combat homelessness

Italian natural skincare company BUFARMA is teaming up with Belgian charity L’ilot to support its work helping the homeless this winter.
In Belgium, the life expectancy of homeless people is only 49 years, compared to over 80 years for the general population. This chilling statistic illustrates the devastating impact of life on the streets. Living without a home means facing cold, hunger, disease, and violence every day in a relentless battle for survival.
L’ilot has been fighting homelessness and extreme poverty for 60 years by addressing the needs of people who are homeless or poorly housed. The charity develops projects around five key areas: emergency shelter, temporary accommodation, housing, job training, and food security.
